Contract negotiations make up a small portion of the total activities in the grand scheme of union business, but its importance in this critical moment cannot be overstated. Achieving an industry level contract is of the highest priority to many pilots, and it may be the single issue that determines who they vote for. Effectively, our plan for contract negotiations may coincidentally determine the direction of our union for many, many years after a contract is ratified.

We have a plan for contract negotiations, not only to avoid delays at this critical juncture, but to ensure that we get the best possible contract for this pilot group moving forward.
